【Ramen Shop Tour】Visited the directly managed Inagi Store! A report on the limited extremely spicy ramen dyed bright red
As it gets hotter, the author has an irresistible craving for spicy food. That's why I came to the directly managed store "Ramen Shop Inagi." Here, I will report on the extremely spicy ramen "Uma Kara Men (Uma Kara Ramen)" that is said to be only offered here.
Right near JR Nambu Line Minami-Tama Station

Today, I stopped by "Ramen Shop Inagi" located in Inagi City, Tokyo. According to the official site, this Ramen Shop is directly managed by the headquarters and sources its ingredients from them. It's a rare station-close location for a Ramen Shop, as it is just a short walk from JR Nambu Line Minami-Tama Station.
Although there is no dedicated parking lot, there are coin parking spaces nearby, making access by car安心. If you spend over 1000 yen on a meal, you can also use the parking fee assistance service.

Today's goal is the "Uma Kara Men (1250 yen)", a product approved by the headquarters. As stated, “not available at other Ramen Shops,” this seems to be a product exclusive to Inagi. Recently, with the rising temperatures, I was craving spicy ramen like crazy.
An interior with a town Chinese restaurant atmosphere

As I entered the store, it felt more like a town Chinese restaurant than a Ramen Shop. There were no counter seats; all were table seats. After purchasing from the ticket machine nearby, I took a seat that was empty. Perhaps it was influenced by the time of my visit, which was during lunchtime on a weekday, as almost all the seats in the store were occupied.

After a short wait, the "spicy ramen" has arrived! You can't help but wonder, "Is this really the ramen from Rasho?" because there is something resembling red chili oil floating in the soup. Indeed, there is a large amount of green onions as a topping, which gives a hint of green onion ramen... but yeah, this looks pretty spicy.

The red soup has not only white sesame but also chopped garlic chives and onions floating in it. A halved seasoned egg is also included.

Let's take a bite right away. Oh, this is delicious. Contrary to its appearance, it is not exceedingly spicy, but rather a spiciness that allows you to enjoy the umami. The signature green onions of Rasho, along with the garlic chives and onions, play a significant role as accents.
At one point, I tried adding garlic, and it paired better than with the usual green onion ramen. One more bite, and another, and I couldn’t stop using my chopsticks. When my mouth started to feel spicy, I took a bite of the perfectly soft-boiled seasoned egg. This is the perfect palate cleanser.
Before I knew it, I finished all the noodles. The soup is so delicious that I couldn’t help but finish it all. Once the heat of summer really kicks in, I want to come back and eat this again.
