On hot days, I struggle with how many change shirts to bring for camping or theme parks. So, I decided to test the washable and quick-drying performance of this shirt from Workman.

I always hesitate over how many shirts to bring for camping. Even if I'm not staying overnight, spending the night feeling sweaty from the day is uncomfortable. I always end up concluding, "I should just bring extra," but packing several changes of clothes makes my luggage bulkier.

After sweating in the afternoon, I decided to wash the shirt.

As the sunlight became stronger, the shirt got wet from sweat. As the temperature rises, the perceived heat increases, and before I knew it, I was sweating a fair amount. While I'd like to take out a change of clothes for comfort, I boldly decide to wash it.

I will wash it as it is at the water station in the park. No soap, just rinsing with water and lightly wringing it out. Since it's polyester, it drains well, and after wringing, it's not that heavy. It was much simpler than I expected.

I looked for a sunny spot and hung it up. It wasn't soaking wet, and since I had wrung it out, it had drained reasonably well. After that, I didn't do anything else, just left it alone.

When I returned after 30 minutes, it was already almost dry, so I went ahead and tried it on. There was no stickiness, and it felt nice to wear. I didn't expect polyester to dry this quickly.

With this, it seems that if I have just one T-shirt to go from washing to drying, I won't need to prepare a lot of changes of clothes.

It has a linen look, so it's fine to wear it out in the city.

When it comes to polyester shirts, there are cases where the shine and cheapness can be a concern. However, this shirt has a textured surface that resembles linen. Even if you stop for lunch right after coming back from camping, it won't look out of place. It's actually important that it doesn't appear awkward when you're out in the city.
