[Car Interior Cleaning Report] Astonished by the mountain of dust! Be especially careful under the particularly dirty "###".
Even though I meticulously wash the exterior, I have been pushing the cleaning of the interior to the back burner. After vacuuming the places that bothered me, I was surprised at how refreshed it felt. What were the top three particularly dirty spots?
I suddenly realized that the inside of my car isn't as dirty as I thought…?

I wash my car regularly, but cleaning the interior often gets pushed back with thoughts like, "Well, I can do it next time." Even if it looks relatively clean, there have been moments when I noticed dust and small trash, making me think, "I feel a bit hesitant to have someone ride with me."

The trigger for this cleaning was on my way back after dropping off my child. While waiting at a traffic light, I suddenly saw the accumulated trash in the cup holder and was astounded… So, cleaning started.

This time, I used my favorite vacuum cleaner, which is lightweight, easy to operate, and comes with a variety of attachments. There are dedicated handheld cleaners for cars, but personally, I feel that the ones for home use are sufficient.
1. Under the floor mats
What surprised me during the cleaning was that there was much more invisible dirt than I expected. Three points were particularly impressive:

It’s a place that isn’t usually seen, but whoa! When I lifted the mat, a lot of sand and trash came out. Even though I thought I vacuumed well, such places tend to be neglected.

Here, the "extendable crevice tool" comes in handy.

The slim nozzle easily fits into crevices and effectively sucks up the gravel that tends to be overlooked.
2. Gaps between the seats

Especially around the back seat, small trash like candy pieces and lint can easily accumulate, sometimes resulting in quite a lot when you finally notice. The rails and gaps of the seats are difficult for the vacuum nozzle to reach, so it’s easy to ignore them.

By using the "extendable crevice tool" in such places, it reaches deep spots effortlessly and cleans thoroughly without leaving anything behind.

For the fabric parts, simply running the "fabric brushing head" over the seat collectively sucks up dust and small debris trapped in the fibers. The sensation of naturally removing dust just by pressing it against the surface feels good, making you want to do it several times.
3. Around the shift lever, door panels, and details of the cup holders
