【For Camp Cooking】Grilling fish has definitely become more comfortable with Cainz's "BBQ Combined Grilling Net"

I discovered an item at Cainz that dramatically improves the experience of grilling fish that I've struggled with during camping. The "BBQ Combined Grilling Net Large" has resulted in excitement for the upcoming summer camping season that I can't contain.

Grilling fish while camping is delicious, but it requires a lot of care

When grilling fish over an open fire or charcoal, I always have to be cautious. Especially when flipping it, if the flesh falls apart, it looks unappealing, so I want to avoid touching it as much as possible. In the case of an open fire, heat only comes from below, so this flipping process cannot be avoided.
When I grilled the filleted yellowtail, it had more moisture compared to dried fish, and since it seemed likely to stick immediately to the grill, I decided to grill it on skewers. This made it easy to fall off, and also increased the difficulty of flipping it, making it very challenging. However, as long as the yellowtail has a thick and firm flesh, it wasn't much of a problem, but I think this grilling method wouldn't have worked for fish with more fragile flesh.
For stream fish with fragile flesh and thin skin, grilling in any way other than skewering requires a lot of care. I would prefer to grill on skewers every time, but if I am not in a place with plenty of firewood or branches, it becomes difficult to adjust the heat or prepare the skewers.
When I forgot the grill, I considered placing the dried fish directly on the charcoal, but then I came up with the idea of stabbing it with metal chopsticks to flip it, and I was able to grill it quite nicely.

From these various experiences grilling fish, the author wished there were more convenient items available.

The "BBQ Grilling Net Large" from Cainz is easy to use

So, I immediately bought the "BBQ Grilling Net Large" from Cainz (980 yen). The size is "39.8×30×3.3 cm," and just looking at it, I could imagine how easy it would be to use. The affordable price is also a plus. I have been paying attention to the convenience of Cainz's original kitchen products for some time and trust the Cainz brand.

This time, since I caught some iwana (mountain trout), I decided to grill them right away.

When I tried grilling the iwana, I realized how easy it was to use

Having used it, the half-circle part on the edge of the net opposite the handle caught nicely, providing stability. There are many types that pinch using a metal net, but products with this part might be surprisingly few. It has an easy-to-use structure.

Additionally, being made entirely of metal parts suits the needs of campers. There’s no need to worry about resin or wooden parts melting or burning from the fire; you can put it directly over a campfire or open flame without any issues. If you have fire gloves, having metal handles is not a problem.
Of course, the flipping process, which I had struggled with before, was successful without any stress. It seems that grilling not only fish but also bread and firmer hamburgers will turn out deliciously. I think interesting ideas are about to be realized, so I would like to try various things in the future.
As mentioned in the official Cainz HP product description, it's great that it can also be used as an open grilling net. This kind of versatility is unique to specifications that are made only with metal parts.
I was able to easily grill the delicate Iwana. The small size (42×15×3.3 cm) is good for small fish, and the long size (61×13×3.3 cm) seems suitable for grilling sardines, so having both could be ideal.

The combined grilling net from Cainz is convenient to have for the upcoming camping season. It expands the world of camp cooking.
