【Skill Test】Does the foldable 20L disaster prevention shower bag from 3COINS come in handy in emergencies?
Not only as a preparation for disasters, but it also seems useful for outdoor activities like camping and beach outings, the 3COINS "disaster prevention shower bag." I actually took it to a park to check its usability.
The 20L full capacity was heavier than I imagined

This disaster prevention shower bag has a simple structure that can hold up to 20L (liters) of water in a foldable body. The back is semi-transparent, allowing you to easily see the remaining water level, and it has a mechanism to adjust the water flow based on the angle of the lever.
When I tried filling it up to around the 20L mark, I was first surprised by the weight. It has a capacity greater than an 18L kerosene can, and it's quite heavy even for an adult to lift with both hands. Honestly, I felt that using it full was nearly impossible.

So I verified it by keeping the water down to about 10L. This was still challenging to lift with one hand, but with both hands, an adult can lift it on their own. When the family cooperated, it was even easier to handle, and there were fun moments where the kids said, "I'll wash my hands while Daddy is holding it."
Honestly, I'm struggling with where to hang it

As the name "shower bag" suggests, it is primarily designed to be used by hanging it. However, hanging it on trees or playground equipment in parks is a no-go as it can damage public property.
In outdoor settings, using a dedicated stand or utilizing the car's roof carrier might be the most realistic option. At a campsite, hanging it on a tarp pole is another option, but it could be dangerous as it might bend.

When using it in a park like this, it ultimately settled into a form where an adult lifts and supports it. I realized that the usability greatly changes depending on whether there is a place to hang it or not.
My impressions after actually using it

As shown in the image above, it can sufficiently accommodate washing one's head and hands at a height that an adult can lift with their hands. Even in situations where there is a long queue at a public washing area, having this allows for using water at one's own pace, which is a great sense of reassurance. It was also convenient for quickly rinsing off children's hands and feet after playing in the mud.

However, the amount of water is limited for washing the entire body. The figure of 20L sounds reassuring, but in reality, it may be necessary to narrow down its applications. You might also want a height for hanging it.
Still, it provides peace of mind to have it during emergencies.

In times of disaster, securing not only drinking water but also water for daily use is important when there is no water supply. Unlike using a cup, having this shower bag provides great peace of mind as it allows for a lifestyle close to daily life by being able to "bathe."

Of course, it's useful for washing the body, but it's also convenient for rinsing off children's feet or lightly rinsing dishes.
It has its quirks, but it's not entirely impractical.

When I actually held it, I realized, "While the number 20L brings a sense of security, realistically, using less than half is more feasible." The hurdle is higher than expected, but having a means to bathe in a disaster is undoubtedly reassuring.
There are definite values such as "just being able to wash my head and hands can refresh me," "it allows me to avoid crowded washing areas," and "it provides options for maintaining hygiene in times of disaster." The conclusion drawn from this verification is that it's not entirely impractical; rather, with some ingenuity in its use, there are definitely situations where it can be of help.
